1. Who runs the service
Momentovka is run by David Azarian, company number 17064619, K Beranovu 1190/15, Dolní Chabry, 184 00 Praha 8, Czechia, a sole trader under the Czech Trade Licensing Act. We are not VAT registered. Write to us at ahoj@momentovka.cz.
2. What you are buying
Momentovka is a service for taking photos at events. Guests shoot in the app or in a browser, and the photos only appear the morning after. You buy a plan for one event:
- Event S for 199 CZK, up to 50 guests
- Event M for 399 CZK, up to 150 guests
- Event L for 899 CZK, up to 400 guests
- Free camera for up to 10 guests costs nothing
A guest is someone who takes at least one shot. Someone who only looks at the album does not count towards the limit. What each plan includes is on the pricing page.
3. How the contract is made
You set the event up in the app and pay at momentovka.cz. The contract is made when the payment goes through; the event switches from a draft to ready in the app, which is the confirmation. Until then the event is a draft and guests cannot reach it.
4. Payment
You pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Limited; your card number never reaches us. You pay once per event. The only subscription is the Archive.
5. Invoices
We issue an invoice for every payment; you will find it in your account under Payments and invoices. We are not VAT registered, the price is final.
6. Upgrading during the event
If more guests turn up than the plan allows, we do not stop the event: we let in up to ten per cent more and warn you at eighty per cent.
An upgrade costs only the price difference, 200 CZK from S to M and 500 CZK from M to L. Plans cannot be downgraded and money already paid is never wasted.
7. How long the photos stay
On the free camera the photos stay 14 days from developing, on a paid event 90 days. After that we hide the event for 30 days before deleting it, and during that time it can be restored. You can download everything as a ZIP at any point.
8. Keep forever and the Archive
Keep forever costs 299 CZK once per event, and that album stays for as long as you have an account.
The Archive costs 390 CZK a year and holds all your events for as long as the subscription runs. You can cancel it any time under Payments and invoices, and it runs to the end of the year you paid for. Once it ends we give your events another 30 days and tell you in advance.
9. Withdrawing from the contract
If you buy as a consumer at a distance, you have the right to withdraw within 14 days. The event starts the moment it is paid for, though, so at checkout we ask for your express consent that the service begins immediately. That is what ends the right to withdraw under §1837(l) of the Czech Civil Code.
As long as you have not started the event and nobody has taken a single shot, we will refund you on request.
10. Complaints and the rest
If something does not work, write to ahoj@momentovka.cz and we will answer within 30 days. A consumer dispute can be settled out of court by the Czech Trade Inspection Authority, coi.cz.
These terms are governed by Czech law. We will announce any change by e-mail; an event you have already paid for is always covered by the wording in force on the day you paid.
